The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) offers support for people living with a psychosocial disability to aid in your recovery. This funding enables you to select the supports you need to achieve your personal recovery goals and lead a positive life.
Recovery Coaches combine the principles of recovery-orientated practice with coaching principles with the aim of assisting you to take more control of your life and to better manage the complex challenges of day-to-day living. Recovery Coaches will work with you collaboratively to assist you to live a full and meaningful life, and to build capacity and resilience through strong and respectful relationships.
This mental health service is designed to be able to maintain engagement through periods of increased support needs due to the episodic nature of mental illness.
Care Provisions Australia provides qualified Recovery Coaches throughout Melbourne and regional Victoria with immediate support available both face-to-face and via Telehealth. All Coaches are fully qualified, with a minimum of Certificate IV in Mental Health Peer Work or Certificate IV in Mental Health.
