At Care Provisions we provide Supported Independent Living package (SIL).
Supported Independent Living, or SIL, is the name given by NDIS for funding that supports people with disabilities, ensuring they have the opportunity to live their lives as independently as possible. Also referred to as ‘shared accommodation’, SIL has been developed by NDIS to support people with disabilities and mental illness. This may be in the form of a person receiving full-time support whilst living in their own home, or a group of people sharing a home. In either case, support is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Under the NDIS, between two and seven people can share a home, with each person having their own private bedroom.
For many people with disabilities or mental illness, it’s not viable for them to live on their own or share the family home, so SIL allows people to live in a suitable home whilst receiving day-to-day support.
With our Supported Independent Living services across Victoria, we can help you find the perfect ‘home-sweet-home’ for you or your loved one.
Care Provisions Australia want to help every individual live their lives as independently as possible, and we do this by helping with and/or supervising daily tasks to help people develop the skills they require. Together, we will work out what you need, and we’ll be there to provide assistance depending on the level of support required to ensure you get to live independently in the housing option of your choice. This may be in your own home, or it may be in shared accommodation; either way, our aim is to help you live your life as free, happy, and independent as possible. Care Provisions Australia will be there to support you with everyday tasks like personal care, cooking, cleaning, and whatever else may be required.
Our aim at Care Provisions Australia is to ensure that we find the perfect home for you, where you can live happily and independently. Participants living in our accommodation have 24/7 access to disability services. We have a professional, qualified and experienced staff to provide continuous and active support to people with disabilities. Some of our services include but are not limited to:
